Discover the art of metal embossing in this festive 3 hour workshop!
On Saturday 14th November (13.00-16.00) under the supervision of tutor Carrie, you’ll craft a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree ornament to treasure or gift.
You’ll start with a practice piece to help you get comfortable with the tools and techniques. Then you’ll move on to your personal project. You can choose from our supplied designs or bring your own.
You will be shown you how to transfer your drawing onto metal, and bring it to life through embossing. Along the way, you will learn tips and more embossing techniques. Once your embossing is complete, we’ll add the finishing touches by aging the metal for a vintage look.
Great for all crafting levels, no experience needed.
Templates are provided, or feel free to bring your own design ideas. If you are bringing your own design, we’ll be working on a piece of metal of 15cm x 15cm, so a design a centimetre or two smaller than that will fit well.
A relaxing, creative atmosphere with step-by-step support and everyone will head home with something festive and unique.
