Spanish Superstars (4-11)
Our term time Spanish Afterschool Club runs on Thursdays (16.00-17.00) at CasaLingua Language School in Consett. This is popular group with children attending from a number of local schools.
Sessions are £10 per child and bookings are made a block in line with the County Durham school term. Pupils have a drink/snack on arrival and each week complete activities and occasionally crafts that are designed to enthuse and inspire them to learn about Spanish speaking countries, culture and (of course) the language itself. The sessions are fun and interactive but take place in a classroom setting.
We also have a fun and reasonably priced activity book for sale which your children can complete at home or over the holidays!

French for Fun! (4-11)
Our newest primary afterschool school, French, will be running for the summer term! We are taking bookings now for the 7 week term starting on Monday 1st June. This weekly club is from 16.00-17.00 at CasaLingua Language School in Consett and the cost is £70 (£10 per class)
Pupils have a drink/snack on arrival and each week complete activities and occasionally crafts that are designed to enthuse, inspire and teach children about the French language and culture. Hopefully this will be a useful experience for children who are heading off to France over the summer holidays!

Spanish and Soft Play (18 months - 4 years)
Bring your little ones along to a weekly CasaLingua class and be amazed at how quickly they learn Spanish!
We have put a lot of thought into this group because we know that parenting is a tough gig! We want our new pre-school group to give parents the chance to get out and socialise whilst setting their kids off on an amazing language learning journey!
When? Where? How much?
The Spotty Giraffe in Blackhill is the place and classes will start on Wednesday 10th June. Each session starts with some fun Spanish (from 9.15-10.00) and then you have an hour of soft play taking you through to 11.00. The cost of each 1hr45m session is £12.50 per child.
Please note that we do not run ‘pay as you go’ sessions for any of our classes; this is a 5 week course costing £62.50. If there is availability, latecomers will be allowed to join and will be charged according to the number of sessions remaining.
How do I book?
- Classes to be booked through the weblink below. On receipt of the booking, you will receive an invoice via email and payment is made via bank transfer.
- Fees for the full block are paid upfront and in full before the first session
- A sibling discount is available (£10.00 per session instead of £12.50)
