Group Conversation Classes
In-Person Classes
Face to face group lessons are delivered at CasaLingua Language School in Consett and our courses run in blocks (typically between 6-8 weeks) in line with school term-times. Course materials are provided each week. This is the current timetable for group lessons. You can work out which class suits you best by reading our level descriptors.
Zoom Classes
Online lessons are recorded so that you can re-watch lessons or access classes that you may have missed. Course materials are also made available after each lesson (no extra cost) so that you can review the lessons each week. On our timetable, online lessons are the ones with an asterisk*.
Cost
All group lessons cost £15 per person per session. We do not offer ‘pay as you go’ and students are invoiced for a whole block ahead of the first class. Once you know that you are able to commit to a class on a regular basis, you may wish to explore our annual or monthly payment plans.
Individual and Academic Tuition
If a group lesson does not appeal, you might wish to consider a one-to-one lesson. This can be in person or via zoom and lessons can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
We also have a number of options for students who require academic tuition at GCSE and A-level, with a range of tutors who can teach in person or via Zoom. Take a look at what we currently have on offer for GCSE French and Spanish.
External events
Spanish Cafe
¡Hablamos! is a more relaxed Spanish group, designed for people who want to meet for an informal ‘chat’ over a coffee. The HUB in Consett has kindly hosted these sessions and we hope to be able to schedule further meets this winter!
Social Events
We have hosted sell out evening events for both Spanish and Italian in various local locations, including successful Spanish and Italian events at the Land of Oak and Iron.

Vouchers
A Giftcard is a great present for someone who you know already takes classes with me (and would appreciate the free lessons!) or as an alternative gift for that person who has everything! Once order, the voucher can be sent to you or the recipient via email or you can call into CasaLingua HQ and pick up one up.
