Elizabeth Salgado
Elizabeth is a qualified Primary teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience and a passion for languages. Although born in the UK, her parents are Portuguese and she spent part of her childhood attending school in Portugal. These early experiences helped her develop a strong connection to the language and culture and she continues to use Portuguese regularly with family and friends as well as during frequent visits to Madeira.
Through her knowledge of Portuguese, Elizabeth was also able to become largely self-taught in Spanish, which further strengthened her enthusiasm for language learning. She believes that languages are the key to communication and to understanding and appreciating different cultures, something she enjoys sharing with her students.
This summer Elizabeth is delivering our first ever Portuguese course and we are confident it will be a hit. If you are holidaying in Portugal this year, book on early - you won’t want to miss it!
