Located centrally on Victoria Road Consett, CasaLingua’s 1st floor suite is comfortable, stylish and, above all, professional.

We have a 2 large rooms, suitable for meetings, networking events or training, as well as a small ‘classroom’ which is designed for small tutorials and used for children’s lessons.

We provide everything you need, including:

  • High-speed Wi-Fi with BT guest access

  • Formal and informal seating arrangements

  • LED screens/audio-visual and presentation tools in all rooms, including whiteboards.

  • Kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities

  • Wine glasses available for hire

  • Secure, private spaces with intercom entry system

  • A membership scheme for regular users & preferential rates for daily and weekly bookings (non-peak times).

Pricing plans

With standard rates for occasional users plus great membership plans for regular users, CasaLingua provides both quality and value.

Room 1: capacity 25

  • Hourly Rate: £22.50

  • Half-Day (4 hrs): £80

  • Full-Day* (8 hrs): £125

Room 2: capacity 16

  • Hourly rate: £17.50

  • Half-Day (4 hrs): £60

  • Full-Day* (8 hrs): £100

Room 3: capacity 8

  • Hourly rate: £12.50

  • Half-Day (4 hrs): £40

  • Full-Day* (8 hrs): £70

*CasaLingua Language School has a set timetable for it’s classes during term time. During school holidays, full day and week-long bookings are usually more widely available.

 FAQs

  • You can host a variety of events, including workshops, business meetings, networking events, creative classes, private gatherings, co-working sessions or tutorials.

  • Our language school has a suite of 3 rooms, all set out differently to suit various types of events and meetings. Room 1 is set out with large tables and chairs and can accommodate up to 25 people; Room 2 has a cosy seating area as well as round tables that can accommodate up to 12 people; Room 3 is our children’s classroom and comfortably has space for 8 people.

  • Of course! We’d love to show you around. Contact us to schedule a tour at a time that works for you.

  • Free parking is available around the property, with short stay and long stay options including Gibson Street (free all day) and Albert Road car park (3 hours) plus there is some street parking outside our building. Electric car charging points are in both car parks.

  • We’re open to considering most events, as long as they align with the professional, formal, or community-focused vibe of CasaLingua’s Space. If you are not sure, just ask.

  • We simply ask for payment in full 14 days before the booking date.

  • Yes, we’re happy to accommodate long-term or recurring bookings, whether it’s for weekly workshops, regular team meetings, or ongoing co-working sessions. Take a look at the membership scheme for preferential rates

  • You’re welcome to add your personal touch, such as banners, flowers, or decorations. We only ask that you avoid anything that could cause damage to the space (e.g., nails, tape on walls).

  • This is a first floor space accessible only stairs. Hirers are advised to visit the space before confirming a booking in order to assess suitability for the intended users.
