Resources: Calling all Teachers!

Teachers are busy people! We spend a lot of time creating resources and are always trying to find something that is current, topical or relevant to our students. Sometimes, however, we run out of steam and need a bit of help! There are lots of text books out there - of course there are - and plenty of free videos and content floating around YouTube. The problem is that you don’t always have the time to filter through and work out which things are decent. Similarly, it doesn’t always seem worth buying another text book, just to find the one or two extra resources that fit the bill.

As a professional, I really do see the value in investing in good resources and I especially like those that are designed in a way that gives a teacher options and different ways of using the resource, depending on the learners and the learning focus. Sometimes, you just need a listening; other times you want to unpick a grammar point. Sometimes you just want to have a reading that students can complete as a homework. If you are a teacher feeling low on energy and lacking in inspiration, now might be a good time to take a look at our resource bank. Individual resources can be purchased (an audio file and accompanying set of activities) through my ‘shop’ on the TES resources page. An alternative is to subscribe monthly or annually through my website and access everything in one go.

Are you keen to find out more? Try before you buy and access a resource absolutely free. Hopefully our work will save you a few hours and give you what you need for your classes.
